As a condition of your submitting a listing on the Cape Town Universal Access in Tourism webportal, you warrant that all information supplied by youabout the property is true, accurate, current, and complete. You acknowledge that all information that you provide for the Cape Town Universal Access in Tourism evaluation will be fully visible on the property page.
As a participant in the Cape Town Universal Access in Tourism(CTUAT) website of the City of Cape Town, you hereby acknowledge and agree that (i) the City of Cape Town accepts reviews and comments pertaining to the property, including, but not limited to, reviews and comments related to the property’s universal access features and practices and participation in the Cape Town Universal Access in TourismProgramme, and (ii)comments about the property’s universal access features and practices may be included within the general property review. All reviews that are submitted must abide by the Cape Town Universal Access in Tourism review guidelines and general terms and conditions of the Website. In short, the CTUATwebsite accepts reviews of firsthand experiences with the facilities or services of an establishment. General discussion that does not detail a substantial experience and reviews that are second-hand or hearsay,will not be posted. Reviews that are written by ownership or management; including current or past employees, or anyone associated with/related to employees of the property, will not be posted. The City of Cape Town and its agents takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any Content posted, stored or uploaded by any third party, or for any loss or damage thereto, nor is City of Cape Town and its agents liable for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity you may encounter. Although City of Cape Town and its agents has no obligation to screen, edit or monitor any of the Content posted to or distributed through any Interactive Area, the City of Cape Town and its agents reserve the right, and has absolute discretion, to remove, screen or edit without notice any Content posted or stored on the Site at any time and for any reason. 2. By submitting this Cape Town Universal Access in Tourismlisting, you agree that the property may be subject to an audit to verify claims regarding theuniversal accessibility features and practices. Audits may be conducted at any time, and for any reason, or at random. Properties may also be subject to an audit after a report of misleading or false claims about the property’s universal accessibility features and practices. The audit will be conducted by an independent third-party. You will be required to respond within a specified time as indicated within initial communications. If audited, the property will be required to supply documentation supporting all universal access claims including but not limited to photographs.
